The Nottinghamshire YMCA is situated within the Nottingham City Centre. The building is located across the road from The Victoria Centre and directly opposite PC World. It is only a few minutes walk from the main City Centre shopping area and various transport links, including a taxi rank, The Victoria Centre Bus Station and a tram stop. TG Physiotherapy Care is based in the YMCA Health and Fitness Gymnasium. This property has recently been upgraded and refurbished and has a separate entrance with disabled access on Shakespeare Street. Please report to the gym reception staff, who will be happy to direct you to the treatment area. Car parking is available on Shakespeare Street, North Sherwood Street and in the Trinity Square Car Park. The nearest bus stops are located just around the corner on Mansfield Road, a few minutes walk from the YMCA. If you have any problems finding us, please ring us and we will give you directions.

Please ring us to talk things through in confidence. This service is for patients who require advice on an illness or dysfunction and are not sure whether our services are most suitable for them. We can advise on pain self-management, and what to do following an acute injury. We can also discuss whether physiotherapy will be able to help you and the treatment options that are available. Please be advised that we will not offer:

  • A diagnosis over the phone.
  • Prescription medication advice.
  • Treatment advice other than immediate response to an acute injury.
  • Replacement emergency treatment from your GP, consultant or hospital.
  • Confidential information concerning other patients.

Refusal to treat is at the discretion of the physiotherapist.
